- They want attention.
- They want power.
- They want control.
- They want an audience.
- They think it's cool.
- People do hateful things for no other reason than it being a source of joy for them.
- It's “fun” to be in the group.
- They calm their own insecurities by picking on someone else.
- They may be victims themselves.
- Take a Stand!
- He was a Marine.
- She had cerebral palsy.
- He couldn't see.
- She had a HUGE nose.
- He was gay.
- She wasn't part of the clique.
- He was accused of cheating.
- She didn't want to play in the orchestra.
- He had AIDS.
- She was hispanic.
- He had to work on Christmas.
- She had autism.
- He was black.
- She was the new kid.
- He was small and a little different.
- We are all different.
- That's what makes us the same.
- Take A Stand!
- Bully!
- Mental anguish is as bad as physical pain.
- It made me feel angry that they were treating her this way. She was much more.
- Sometimes what others see is different from the truth.
- They almost ended his military career.
- They were jealous
- They harassed her online.
- I knew the truth. She was falsely accused.
- Never make an eight year old mad!
- They would say things behind his back.
- They were pushing me into lockers.
- They told me I sucked.
- They excluded me.
- They would put me down to make themselves feel good.
- It was everywhere I turned. Online and in class.
- I felt like I couldn't “Take A Stand!”
- Be a hero.
- Have courage.
- We always stood up for each other.
- We took up for each other.
- If anybody confronted us about anything, we took each others side.
- If my kids ever had trouble with a friend, I would help them out.
- All it took was a little girl telling him to stop.
- I said, “This is wrong.”
- She probably doesn't even know I stood up for her.
- Years later I saw him, and he thanked me.
- It affected me in such a way that I felt like I needed to do something about it.
- A co-worker stood up for me.
- I was asked to speak at his funeral. People thanked me for standing up for him.
- Stand up for yourself and for your friends, before it is too late.
- Take A Stand!
- Empower yourself.
- Empower a friend.
- Walk away from the bully.
- Have more respect for each other.
- Do not just stand there and do nothing. That makes you worse than the bully.
- People can be biased. Get the facts.
- There are kids that don't have a friend to stand up for them.
- They need you.
- Walk with the smaller kid.
- Take A Stand!
- Stand up for yourself.
- Talk with confidence.
- Ask them to stop.
- Notify a friend or authority.
- Direct eye contact.
- Use your sense of humour.
- Play it calm and cool.
- Don't share information online or in an email.
- Offer to talk to an authority on a victim's behalf.
- Throw your shoulders back, stand up straight, look them in the eye.
- Take A Stand.
- Say, "Hey, knock it off, that's not cool."
- Say, "C'mon, let's go." and get a couple of your friends to join you in taking a stand for the kid.
- Tell your friends ahead of time: "I'm going to stick up for that kid. Will you do it with me?"
- There are great people in this world. If you stand up for them, they'll stand up for you.
- There is always someone there to help you.
- They will need us and we will be there.
- Take A Stand!
- The statistics are grim.
- People who are bullied are depressed.
- They suffer anxiety.
- Some even consider suicide.
- Some follow through.
- But it gets better.
- Until it does, we must be the heros.
- We must speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
- We must stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
- We must Take A Stand.
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
- Take A Stand!
